The Brief
A new career change meant the owner of K9Hairdooz needed a simple online presence to show potential customer pictures of their dog grooming skills and to provide basic information.
Unfortunately the client had been abandoned by their developer mid build of a new WordPress site. We stepped in, picked up what pieces we could, and started fresh with a new design and a from-scratch build in Umbraco.
It was important to include a price list, contact form and for the website to be as low maintenance as possible.
The Process
The client came to us with a logo already created and a wish for the site to include the colour purple.
We started with a design process, creating a moodboard of sites and examples we thought would take K9 Hairdooz in the right direction. While this was happening we sitemapped and wireframed the website. The client was happy with our initial design direction and a few revisions later we had all the mock-ups and assets we needed to start the build.
We built a simple 8 page website using Umbraco to clearly display all services and prices along with key information customers would need to know. With the client wanting the site to be very low maintenance we decided to use custom integration to seamlessly link their Instagram account as a way for them to easily display and update product photos & images in the gallery.
The Outcome
The client was easily able to display photos of their work and provide a professional looking online presence with the information new customers would be looking for. The contact form also allowed customers to book and message via email rather than phone.
Mohunky are absolutely fabulous. Rob has designed and built my website from scratch, and has produced a site that I get loads of feedback for. My customers think it is great, which is the most important thing! It flows well and is crisp and clean.
The aftercare from Mohunky is fabulous as well. Any problems with my website are flagged to me and a resolution found extremely quickly which is a must. I would recommend Mohunky to anybody who wants a new and up to date site.
Ongoing support
The site requires very minimal support with only the odd price update needed which the client prefers us to do. We also manage the website hosting giving the client confidence that everything is looked after by us
